Several documents address fiscal aspects of our Prairie Village HOA.
- Collections Policy: provides summary information on the administration and collection of dues, special assessments, fines, and liens; available for viewing and/or download at the Resources page.
- PVHOA Budget Report: a line-item tracking spreadsheet of budgeted and actual income and expenses; updated monthly and available upon request.
- PVHOA Reserve Study: a rough 20-year analysis that attempts to forecast future operating and capital expenses along with income from dues, special assessments, and other sources to cover those expenses. The largest annual HOA expense is generally snow removal and ice treatments. Our reserve study attempts to forecast dues and special assessments in order to meet annually increasing operating expenses and plan for our largest, looming capital expense: road repair/resurfacing. The PVHOA Reserve Study is available upon request.
- Fiscal Reports (FR-yyyy): annual end-of-year income and expense reports which are also used as the basis for filing federal and state income tax returns; available upon request.
- Treasurer Reports (TR-yyyy-mm): periodic correspondence provided to homeowners; updated semi-annually (in conjunction with mailing announcements for HOA meetings) and available upon request.
Current homeowners in good standing can request any of these documents as needed. Please contact the PVHOA Board with questions or requests for additional information.
