2018 Annual Fall Meeting Minutes
September 25/Smith Garage
1. Called to order at 6:37 pm
2. Polly is elected to run the meeting.
3. Quorum is met with 23
4. Reviewed presentation of proofs of due calling of meeting
5. Minutes from the 2018 Spring Meeting are approved.
6. Reports
a. The HOA is no longer responsible for the hedges in Jean’s yard. We are done dealing with Rich Farms about the hedges.
b. Two units have outstanding dues
c. We are looking at different liability insurance through BB&T and will compare next month and decide.
d. Snow removal bill was twice as much as last year.
e. 414 Cimarron is being auctioned tomorrow (9/26)
f. Landscaping Committee has been working on finishing the 10 Commandments and a more formal summary of the rules.
7. Unfinished/Old Business
a. Storm Drain Cleaning
i. Sent pictures from our work day cleaning to MUB but haven’t heard back, so we’re assuming no news is good news.
ii. Drains may need flushed out eventually.
b. Parking: Our only two guest parking locations are designated on a Google Maps image on our website. Please help your guests make good parking decisions.
8. New Business
a. Budget and Dues
i. Some numbers changed slightly but not enough to up the dues.
ii. Dennis moves to approve the budget. Robert seconds. Group agrees.
b. Community Concerns
i. Jean DeHaven- Some units on Glencoe have unruly lawns. What can be done to have them keep their yard up to our standards?
ii. By April, we need to have the landscaping rules out to the neighborhood so there is no excuse for confusion.
9. Elections
a. Suzi is stepping down as a board member.
b. Alli Colasante volunteers and is voted in as new board member.
c. Remaining board members stay the same.
